Notices

Cookies notice

A cookie is a small note a site stores in your browser. Some notes are needed for the pages to remember a choice. Others help a host count visits. This page says what we use. The privacy notice says how we handle personal data more generally.

You will see a paper-slip banner on the first visit. Accept and Reject are both offered. Refusing optional cookies does not block the form, the engagements, or the notes. The choice is stored under the key metricvectorbase_cookie_consent.

Types we use

Essential. The consent key itself, so the banner does not return on every page load, and any cookie the host needs to deliver the pages. These do not require a marketing choice.

Analytics. Optional. If you accept, a visit count may be recorded by the host so we can see which notices are read. If you reject, we do not set that cookie from this banner.

We do not use advertising cookies. We do not follow you from this site into another organisation’s pages.

How to change your mind

Clear the site’s stored data in your browser, then reload. The banner returns. You may also use the browser’s cookie controls to block or delete notes. Blocking essential storage may make the banner reappear; it will not stop you writing to info@metricvectorbase.digital.

Third parties

Fonts are requested from Google Fonts when a page loads. That request is not a cookie we set, but Google may see the request. The comparison form posts only to this site’s own /api/mock.json file.

If a future host introduces a further third-party cookie, this table will be updated before that cookie is used for analytics.

If you disable cookies

The pages remain readable. The form still sends. We may not remember your banner choice, so the slip may show again. Optional counts will not include your visit.
